Laurent Barthelemy

Laurent Barthelemy is a designer, animator, and filmmaker, known for his cinematic and whimsical doc-style films. He spent a decade at Psyop in New York, contributing to numerous industry-defining motion graphics projects. Among these, “MTV Crow” earned a spot in the Permanent Film Collection at MoMA. In recent years, Laurent Barthelemy has directed several award-winning advertising films, including Mt. MELVIL-produced Toyota’s “Start Your Impossible” and Yamaha’s “Dear Glenn.” In 2022, he wrote and directed the documentary feature “Finding Satoshi,” narrated in its English version by Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe. The Japanese version won a Galaxy Award, Japan’s equivalent of an Emmy.
