Airi Yamawaki

Airi is a producer currently based in Tokyo. She grew up in South Africa and in the UK, with her career starting in Africa. In recent years she has been producing short films, music videos, commercials, and documentaries, for various media platforms ranging from broadcast to on-demand media. Her documentary “Finding Satoshi” narrated by Willem Dafoe has won several international awards and was selected to screen in a few festivals. She has also been producing several sustainability-related contents, of which “Signals – Plastic must die” was nominated for Ciclopes Asia. The latest short film with Toray has been shortlisted at The Drum Awards for the Rebranding category.
